Member Frontline Cashier

Position Summary

Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of the front end. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank each and every one. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self‑checkout experience.

The pace can be fast, especially in evenings, weekends, and during holiday seasons. You will juggle several tasks—scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area—while maintaining member satisfaction.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Item and safety inspection: conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe conditions to facility management.
Member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, promote products, provide guidance on self‑service technology, process purchases and payments, and arrange merchandise.
Compliance: follow company policies, procedures, and ethics standards, use the Open Door Policy, and consistently execute business processes.
Work coordination: follow priorities, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

Customer Service, Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register), working with mobile retail applications.

Experience in high‑volume retail environments; strong communication skills; ability to stand for long periods and multitask efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
