Security Officer role at Lifepoint Health®. As a member of the Security team, you'll support those in our facilities who interface with and care for patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®.
Schedule & LocationFull‑time, night shift 10 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (In‑person).
Responsibilities- Perform proactive monitoring and timely response to potential or actual security threats.
- Investigate and manage all security incidents and hazards on premises.
- Facilitate planned drills and simulations, maintaining knowledge and adherence to policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Respond to emergency calls and assist nursing staff in managing patient situations requiring heightened safety measures.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Must complete Handle with Care program onsite within 30 days of hire.
- Previous experience in Security, Safety, Law Enforcement, or healthcare highly preferred.
