Prospect Blue seeks a Dispatcher for their client in Danville, VA
- Dispatch drivers and monitor loads from pickup to delivery.
- Communicate with drivers on schedules, delays, and route issues.
- Handle breakdowns, detentions, and last-minute changes.
- Keep drivers within federal hours-of-service limits.
- Update customers on shipment status.
- 1+ year of trucking dispatch experience preferred (we'll train the right person).
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service regulations.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure.
- Willingness to be flexible with occasional after-hours needs.
- Able to report to work in office in Reidsville, NC or Danville, VA.
