Performance Personnel Services (PPS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Construction Foreman to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil construction and field supervision, with hands‑on experience leading crews, managing daily site activities, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

As a Civil Construction Foreman, you’ll play a key role in supporting project superintendents and ensuring field operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is a great opportunity for a working leader who takes pride in quality workmanship and team performance.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews and subcontractors on-site.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Interpret project blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide work activities.
  • Assist in scheduling materials, equipment, and labor to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the superintendent or project manager.
  • Maintain quality control by ensuring all work meets project standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership to crew members to promote a productive and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to resolve field challenges and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Civil or Construction Foreman (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, including grading, concrete, utilities, and site preparation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Hands‑on experience operating construction tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
