ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app.
When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You will be expected to engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you must respond to our contact attempts to confirm interest in shifts. If you do not respond, your employment may be terminated.
Additionally, if you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment with Target will be administratively terminated. You will be required to attend a Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime app is used to pick up shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality.

- Communicating and interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience
- Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns

- Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
- Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
- Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
- Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
- Explain and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
- Handle returns by following register prompts and collaborating with leadership as needed while following policies and procedures.
- De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience in line with policies and procedures.
- Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace and stock supplies during store hours as needed.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders and related returns; comply with applicable laws for adult beverage sales where relevant.
- Support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
- All other duties based on business needs.
