Responsibilities- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and supports children's exploration and discovery.
- Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, and social‑emotional development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Plan and facilitate stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Assess children's progress, document observations, and maintain accurate records to inform individualized instruction and communicate with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development, milestones, and areas of growth.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
- Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in fostering the development of preschool‑aged children.
- Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- A CDA or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive and nurturing relationships.
- First aid and CPR certifications.
