Caregiver, Home Health Aide

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become a part of our Baldwin County team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults through our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Previous care giving experience is preferred but not required.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks, and meal preparation
• Medication and Appointment reminders
• Assistance with personal care
• Mobility assistance
• Incontinence care assistance
• Some transportation needs to and from appointments, errands, etc...
• Alzheimer's/ dementia care
• Knowledge of how to use a Hoyer lift and or a gate belt

Requirements To Be a Care Professional

• The ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• The ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Have a clear criminal background check
• Have a driver's license and Insurance and a good driving record
• Positive employment reference check and stable work history
• Pass a drug screen
• Dependability and reliability is a must

Pay: $13-$15 / hour. We have a variety of shifts available, ranging from 4 hours to 12 hour shifts.
