Position Summary:

Flexicrew Technical Services is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support daily front‑office operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and compassionate patient experience. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
- Register patients and accurately collect demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co‑pays as required
- Schedule appointments and provide patients with clear instructions and appointment details
- Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately, and accurately relay messages
- Maintain and update patient records in accordance with established procedures
- Perform administrative support duties including filing, data entry, and supply management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all patient confidentiality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and reception area
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff to support patient flow and coordination of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior receptionist, front desk, or medical office experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong customer service skills with a patient‑focused mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Commitment to quality, professionalism, and teamwork
- Ability to complete required e‑learning courses within 90 days of hire
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively
- Frequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to perform job duties
- Must be able to work during regular business hours
- Clinical and medical office environment
- Exposure to communicable diseases and medical equipment, including radiation
- Frequent in‑person interaction with patients, visitors, staff, and management
- Occasional travel to other office locations may be required
