As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and back‑room operations; provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (e.g., cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Drive business results, ensuring operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area per company policies and procedures; ensure quality and standards for high‑volume meat products; eliminate waste; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest quality level; interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training them to perform job‑related duties as assigned.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
