The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ridley Park, PA!

We are seeking a data-driven Quality Engineer to support Core Quality and MH-139 program through advanced analytics, nonconformance reviews, and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with SQL or Python, data visualization tools like PowerBI, and a strong foundation in quality functions to drive continuous improvement and strengthen quality processes by problem-solving, identifying trends and delivering measurable results.

Position Responsibilities:

Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) 3+ years of experience with analytics tools including:
Tableau, SQL, R, and Python

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Shiny, PowerBI)3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)3+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.
