St. Charles Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for the full-time Nursing Faculty for the Fall Semester. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction.
Founded in 1986, St. Charles Community College (SCC) serves a six-county region with a population exceeding 540,000. The college emphasizes academic excellence, student success, workforce advancement, and lifelong learning within a global society.
Responsibilities- Teach nursing theory, clinical/simulation, and lab with a focus on medical surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics, and mental health material.
- Collaboratively assess student performance in theory, clinical/simulation, and lab as part of a team/level.
- Contribute to the department, the division, and the college at department-wide and college-wide levels.
- Engage in effective teaching, learning, and assessment; participate in committee work; provide college service.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Active unencumbered MO nursing license; license must not have been disciplined in any jurisdiction.
- Preferred: college-level teaching experience and prior experience as an LPN in a previous position.
- Demonstrate ability to embrace technology in teaching and maintain high standards in instruction and assessment.
- Master's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience with Mental Health Nursing (preferred).

Salaries:
Instructor $58,315;
Assistant Professor $64,238;
Associate Professor $70,620. Rank will be assessed at the time of hire based on years of experience and education based on pre-determined criteria.
