Senior Technical Writer

Edged is an innovative data center company focused on sustainability. We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer to work with the Turbo Cell and Edged Infrastructure team, focusing on technical documentation for our energy‑efficient infrastructure.

• Research, write, and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including product manuals, specifications, installation guides, datasheets, internal procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Translate complex technical information from engineers and subject matter experts into clear, accurate, and engaging content for varied audiences.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all documentation.
• Create visuals, diagrams, and infographics in collaboration with the design team to enhance comprehension.
• Manage version control and document repositories to ensure the latest content is always accessible.
• Approach writing and content creation as a problem‑solving activity, proposing improvements to how information is structured and delivered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, English, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience writing technical documentation in engineering, energy, or related technology fields.
• Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience working in a startup or fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and image editing software.
• Ability to work remotely and interface through online communication tools.
• Familiarity with energy generation systems, grid infrastructure, data center technologies, and gensets.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, or system diagrams.
• Knowledge of industry standards and certifications (e.g., UL, IEEE, ISO).
