A fast-growing real estate investment platform specializing in private credit and structured finance is seeking a sharp, motivated Asset Management Associate to join its team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a national portfolio of Multifamily and Single Family bridge loans, bringing together the strategic lens of an investor and the operational discipline of a lender.
If you have a foundation in underwriting, originations, or real estate debt, and want to take ownership in managing complex credit investments, this is a compelling next step.
About the Role:
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage the performance of real estate-backed loans—monitoring risk, maximizing yield, and ensuring business plans are executed effectively. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the full credit lifecycle, from origination through repayment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize performance of a portfolio of residential real estate bridge loans
- Evaluate collateral performance, borrower compliance, and market risk
- Partner with originations and underwriting teams to support new deal structuring and onboarding
- Drive loan-level and portfolio-level reporting for internal leadership and investors
- Identify early warning signals, assess workout strategies, and support credit decisions
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate debt, asset management, or loan originations/underwriting
- Familiarity with bridge lending, structured credit, or residential mortgage-backed investments
- Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to collaborate across teams while owning independent work streams
Why This Role:
This isn’t traditional asset management—it’s credit-focused, fast-moving, and strategically critical. You’ll work across diverse deal structures and borrower profiles, gain exposure to institutional real estate credit strategies, and help scale a platform that’s reshaping how capital meets residential housing.
