Sr. Manager, CPACE Transaction Management
Nuveen Green Capital (NGC) is a leading provider of C-PACE financing, helping commercial real estate developers and owners implement energy, water, and resiliency measures. The Senior Manager, Transaction Management supports the loan origination, underwriting, and transaction management of C-PACE projects across all real estate product types.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare term sheets and supporting presentation materials for early‑stage deals.
- Underwrite loans by building financial models, conducting market and credit analysis, and drafting investment memoranda for senior debt origination team members.
- Prepare credit committee memoranda, term sheets, and other documentation.
- Perform ongoing market and property‑specific research.
- Manage a diverse pipeline of C-PACE projects, triaging and prioritizing next steps to keep projects on track.
- Communicate internally with originations, credit, legal, and asset management teams.
- Lead external client and partner interactions to ensure timely milestone completion and closing.
- Maintain relationships with developers and third‑party capital providers to support deal flow.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and creatively solve challenges to advance Nuveen Green Capital’s mission.
- Minimum 3+ years of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) underwriting experience.
- 5+ years of CRE experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of CRE construction and/or development underwriting.
- Strong interest in sustainability or clean energy deployment.
- University degree preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Base Pay Range: $106,000/yr – $148,000/yr. Compensation may vary based on experience, performance, and market conditions. Competitive incentive programs may apply.
