In this business development position, you play an important role in ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You are our ambassador responsible for selling our products to builders and contractors. Using your business development and sales skills, you advise the customer on tools, hardware/materials, and procedures the customer needs or wishes to perform. You inform customers about the quality of tools, hardware, lumber, and other related materials.
Every shift you are pursuing leads, providing great customer service, and giving feedback. You feel accomplished every day knowing you help keep business coming for us!
- Sell building materials to contractors and builders and grow revenue
- Advise customers on tools, hardware/materials, and procedures needed or desired
- Inform customers about the quality of tools, hardware, lumber, and related materials
- Pursue leads each shift and provide excellent customer service and feedback
- Product knowledge with awareness of inventory levels
- Ability to operate a computer register and keyboard
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
Flexible and adaptable; positive attitude; goal-oriented and self-motivated; ability to connect with customers and build relationships; effective communication and professional presentation. This is a full-time Outside Sales Representative role with comprehensive benefits as listed above.
