What You’ll Do
- Active involvement in the development and implementation of global product innovations.
- Own set of responsibilities for specific projects in the field of our leading Beauty brands and products.
- Apply scientific knowledge to practical problem solving and practical business applications, encompassing hair research, hair product formulation, method development and validation, data analysis and application. Lead the assigned innovation projects, by proposing technical solutions and defining next steps.
- Plan and/or coordinate the testing to ensure the product performance, safety and stability, according to product development requirements.
- Connect with internal colleagues, especially with the Consumer Technical Insight department, to generate consumer insights, to formulate the products in a consumer centric way and to validate the formula performance with consumers.
- Connect with raw materials suppliers to find raw materials with high potential to solve the technical challenges and test them.
- Document, organize, present results.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s Degree, working towards a Master’s Degree or PhD in science, especially chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, cosmetic science or comparable.
- Strong digital and technical skills.

Sustainability, Formulating, Processing / Packaging. - Highly motivated and passionate about creating innovative products.
- Organized, rigorous, curious, showing analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Strong communicator and open-minded team player with the ability to lead your own projects.

The salary for this role is $29-$37/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
