Position: Architectural Professional I

Architectural Professional, level I, is an entry-level position. We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Professional with 0-2 years of experience to contribute to our diverse portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural principles, a passion for design, and a keen interest in integrated design and delivery processes. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced architects, designers, engineers, and construction professionals, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of project development.

This position requires a general understanding of design and technical aspects of projects, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for high-quality design and collaborative processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing design documents, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Contribute to developing design concepts and collaborate in creating presentation materials, models, and renderings.
  • Participate in producing construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations and attend meetings to gain exposure to client relations and project discussions.
  • Research materials, building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, construction, and other consultants, to support the integrated delivery of projects.
  • Compile data and perform design computations, assisting in producing amendments, addenda, and bulletins.
  • Perform onsite surveys of existing conditions and document field measurements.
  • Perform general office responsibilities (library and material upkeep, assist in developing project/BIM standards, help, participate in professional development programs, etc.).
  • Participate in cross-disciplined career development. Engage in continuous learning opportunities, attend industry events, and participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adapting to various roles within a project, whether in leadership or support, while consistently performing at a high level. Proactively handles tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success, team collaboration, and firm excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in an architectural firm, with exposure to design and documentation processes. Internship in an Architecture Firm preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design principles is a plus.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in integrated design and delivery, with a commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Interest in completing ARE exams
Salary

$62,000 - $72,000. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
