Data Integrity Analyst

This role focuses on protecting the integrity of the legal medical record by identifying and correcting patient registration and documentation errors. The work is done under guidance from senior analysts and mainly involves Epic’s Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI), document imaging systems, and related downstream systems.

• Investigate and resolve patient identifier issues such as duplicates, overlays, and linkage problems
  .
• Work EMPI queues including Potential Duplicates, Potential Linkage, Review Identifier, and Potential Overlay
• Research and resolve documentation issues on accounts.
• Fix duplicate errors from monthly hospital system roster loads.
• Communicate corrections to downstream systems and relevant departments.
• Support new and existing EMPI/data integrity projects as assigned.

• Experience with patient identity/data integrity work
• Ability to analyze errors and problem-solve
• Strong computer and word processing skills
• Good customer service and ability to work with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Minimum requirements:Associate’s degree or 2 additional years of work experience above minimum qualification, plus 2 years of experience
