Entry Level Safety Officer Trucking

Company Overview:
We are a growing trucking company operating in the Midwest with a fleet of 38 trucks. We take pride in our commitment to safety, compliance, and excellent service. As we expand, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Safety Officer.

Position Overview:
The Safety Officer will support our safety and compliance operations by helping ensure drivers, equipment, and company operations meet federal, state, and company safety requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in trucking safety and compliance. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring driver logs, hours of service, and ELD compliance.
• Conduct safety orientation and training for new drivers.
• Support accident/incident reporting and follow-up.
• Help ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with maintaining accurate safety records and files.
• Communicate safety policies and promote a culture of safety across the company.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, etc.).
• Prior safety experience required .
• Serbian language skills are a strong plus.
