Junior Management Accountant

A growing, well‑respected organisation in the retail and distribution sector, are looking for an ambitious Junior Management Accountant to join their finance team. You’ll work directly with the Financial Controller and play a key role in producing accurate, meaningful financial information that supports decision‑making across the business.

The role:

As Junior Management Accountant, you’ll become a key part of a supportive finance team. Your day‑to‑day will centre around producing accurate financial data, maintaining clear processes, and ensuring the department’s output is consistently reliable. It’s a role suited to someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in precision, and wants to develop their career within a fast‑moving commercial environment.

What they’re looking for:
Essential:
 
AAT Level 3 (completed) and currently studying Level 4, or fully qualified; OR a relevant accounting degree.
Confident using Excel at an intermediate level.
Experience working to deadlines and following structured processes.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
A collaborative team player who builds positive relationships across departments.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Someone who genuinely enjoys their work and takes pride in delivering high‑quality output.  Desirable:

Able to explain financial information clearly to non‑finance colleagues.
