Transport Administrator – Darlington

Imperial Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a leading transport and logistics business to recruit experienced Transport Administrators to join their growing team in Darlington.

The Role

As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the transport operation, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing transport administration and supporting daily operations

* Processing purchase orders and financial reports

* Maintaining accurate payroll, time & attendance, and holiday records

* Booking driver training and CPC courses

* Managing transport compliance records and documentation

* Producing reports, analysing data, and updating KPIs

* Liaising with internal teams and customers

* Supporting transport managers with general administrative duties

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in a Transport Administrator or similar logistics administration role

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

* A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail

 * £16.08 per hour, plus weekend and BH payments

* Eligible to join company bonus scheme

* Long-term temporary position with potential to become permanent

* 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 10.5 hours
