At Teacher Active, we’re on the hunt for compassionate, reliable tutors to work with our special educational need schools across Darlington. You’ll be working closely with young people who need a safe, stable environment — including those with additional learning needs (ALN) and challenging behaviours.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

What You’ll Need:

✅ A calm, patient approach with a sense of humour
✅ Willingness to learn and adapt in the face of challenges
✅ Experience working with SEN and SEMH pupils
✅ Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication

✅ Experience providing one-to-one and group tutoring sessions across Maths, English & Science.
✅ Tailor lessons to meet individual students needs and learning styles.
