Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary Schools around Darlington and neighbouring areas. This is a great opportunity for those fresh out of university and ready to begin their career in education, or for those who are experienced in support and ready for a different adventure!

About the role:

Supporting students in ages ranging from 11-16 within the classroom
Assisting the teachers with behaviour support
Helping students stay focused and engaged
Working with small groups of students, or 1-1
Who we’re looking for:

Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
Enthusiasm for education and helping pupils develop
Excellent patience and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
