MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location – Fort William / Corpach, Scotland (PH33) Salary: £44,761 (equates to £19.29/hour)

Shift: Continental-style rota: 4 nights on / 3 off, 3 days on / 1 off, 3 nights on / 3 off, 4 days on, then 1 week off (repeat)  10-day Christmas shutdown Company:

Job Role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Mechanical Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is a brilliant chance to join a major UK manufacturing business at a modern industrial site, working on heavy machinery with genuine long-term stability and progression available (including potential development into Team Leader for the right engineer).

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Machinery: hydraulic rollers, saws, chippers, conveyor systems (roller & chain conveyors), steam kiln. Faults:
Mechanical – hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, gearboxes, chains Electrical (basic) – sensors, motors Sector – Industrial / Manufacturing Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial / manufacturing environment Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Mechanical maintenance background (industry background is flexible as long as mechanically strong) Comfortable working in an industrial environment (dusty areas / wet & muddy yard areas) Ability to work effectively as part of a team on a busy site The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
