Practice & Quality Lead

Darlington Borough Council is currently seeking a Practice and Quality Lead (Advanced Social Worker) to support the service through a period of significant social care reform.

This is a hybrid/blended role, with weekly office attendance required, offering flexibility around working hours. Any additional hours worked will accrue and can be taken as flexi time.

Pay Rate: £249.91 per day

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting teams through social care reforms
Quality assurance activity
Wide engagement and participation work
Report writing
Driving practice improvement across the service

This role would suit an experienced Advanced Social Worker with strong quality assurance and practice development experience.

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
Driving licence and access to own vehicle
