We are thrilled to announce a permanent P;art time vacancy for a Reception/Administrator role to undertake general administrative and reception support within our surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual who is proficient with IT systems and eager to work with our fast-paced and efficient team.
Friday 1.00pm - 6.00pm (administration)
We are seeking candidates who possess strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. Our team is currently looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, understands the importance of detail and confidentiality, and values the support, flexibility, and job satisfaction that come from being part of a dedicated team.
Main Duties of the JobAdministration
- 1. Coding, where highlighted, to the patients record ensuring accurate recording are completed and within a timed fashion. This will include test results, diagnosis and safegusrding concerns etc
- 2. Scanning for workflow and non workflow documents
- 3. Dealing with solicitors request for notes including retrieving Paper records and photocopying
- 4. General filing and the up keep of all surgery patient paper records
- 5. Plus any other administrative duties as and when needed.
Receptionist
- 1. Reception Duties
- 2. Using the telephone appointment system and Anima Online System
- 3. Repeat Prescriptions
- 4. Start and end of day procedures
- 5. Any other delegated duties considered appropriate to the post
We are a busy NHS Training Practice in Dartford with just over 9,000 patients and continuosly growing. We have 2 GPs and 1 salaried GP, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 HCAs and 11 members of staff within the Management, Secretarial, Reception and Administrative Teams.
Our IT system is EMIS Web.
Person Specification Experience- Experience with using windows software eg WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK etc
- keyboard skills, computer literacy
- Experience of working in primary care or caring environment but not essential as full training will be given
