Estimator Civils & Groundworks North Kent Permanent Major Civils & Infrastructure Contractor

Were supporting a long-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a significant presence across Kent and the South East. The business delivers complex groundworks, infrastructure civils, remediation and enabling works for major developers and public-sector clients. Due to continued growth within their civils and infrastructure division, theyre now looking to appoint an Estimator to strengthen their commercial team.

• Prepare tenders for groundworks, infrastructure civils, remediation and enabling packages
• Take-offs, measurements, BOQs and detailed cost build-ups
• Review drawings, specifications and client requirements
• Liaise with engineering, planning and operational teams to support accurate pricing
• Engage with supply chain partners and assess subcontractor quotations
• Support bid submissions, value engineering and commercial strategy
• Work closely with senior commercial leadership on tender reviews and pricing decisions

• Experience estimating groundworks, civils, or infrastructure packages
• Strong understanding of take-offs, measurements and tender processes
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical information confidently
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-standards commercial environment
