K & A Chartered Surveyors is a growing, independent RICS-regulated practice providing professional Building Surveying services across London, Kent and the South East. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Building Surveyor or AssocRICS Building Surveyor to join our team based at our offices in The Bridge, Nucleus Office, Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and professional practice, gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of surveying disciplines while working alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors.

You will be involved in a broad range of residential and commercial surveying instructions, including:

• Level 2 and Level 3 Building Surveys
• Residential and commercial defect diagnosis
• Party Wall matters
• Dilapidations
• Schedules of Condition
• Project management and contract administration
• Reinstatement Cost Assessments
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) inspections
• Preparation of professional reports
• Client liaison and site inspections throughout London and the South East

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline, or AssocRICS qualification.
• A desire to progress towards MRICS accreditation (if not already Chartered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Access to their own vehicle, as regular travel to site inspections is required.
