Job Description & How to Apply Below
We're working with a leading residential developer seeking an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager to join their team on a flagship development in the Dartford area.
The project consists of a large mixed-tenure scheme incorporating both apartment blocks and traditionally built houses at varying stages of construction. With multiple phases underway and several years of future development planned, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a successful and growing business. The role will be reporting to a senior site manager with direct responsibility for your own units on the scheme, forming part of the management team of 5.
Your new role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Senior Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a new 100-unit phase. You will be responsible for co-ordinating subcontractors, maintaining health and safety, quality control, snagging and inspections, and ensuring programme targets are met. You will also be involved with customer care and the handover process. The site boasts an experienced and stable management team.
Therefore, you will be walking into a well-run scheme as part of a planned expansion.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong house building experience with several years at assistant site manager or site manager level. This is not a trainee role, with the successful candidate expected to manage their own units from day 1 (with support). You will need to have managed all aspects of the build process with a focus on the internal to handover aspect. You will understand the CML process and relevant building regulations and be comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-volume house building environment.
Valid First aid CSCS, SMSTS and scaffold inspection qualifications are highly desirable, as is a NVQ or equivalent.
What you'll get in return
This role brings the salary and package associated with a large volume house builder.
Salary - To £60 dependent on experience
Car allowance or company car
Annual bonus
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Private medical insurance
