Mechanical Supervisor - Projects Division

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Van

We are currently working with a leading MEP / Building Services contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their growing Projects Division.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased professional who is looking to take ownership of projects, lead site teams and work alongside an experienced project management team on a range of high-value schemes.
The RoleAs Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of mechanical installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities:- Supervising mechanical installation teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating mechanical works with other trades and site management
- Reading and working from drawings, specifications and programmes
- Ensuring installations are completed to the required standards
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager
- Managing labour, materials and site resources
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring compliance with RAMS
- Attending site meetings and coordinating with clients and other contractors
- Supporting commissioning and project handover
- Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the project
We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical building services background who has experience supervising projects within the commercial, residential, industrial or wider MEP sector.
You will ideally have:- Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor
- Strong mechanical building services knowledge
- Experience working for an M&E / MEP contractor
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams
Good understanding of drawings, programmes and RAMS Strong communication and organisational skills
