About the RoleAs a Swimming Teacher at Places Leisure you will work in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people. You will inspire others to work together, deliver excellent class programming, and engage customers with enthusiasm. You will play a key part in our swimmer development stages based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
Responsibilities- Plan, programme and lead swimming lessons for groups and one‑to‑one sessions.
- Motivate and instruct students of all ages, building trust, encouraging progress.
- Deliver high‑quality, safe instruction while applying teaching best practice.
- Seek out development opportunities and propose ideas to improve service delivery.
- UKCC Level 2 or higher. A Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC) is advantageous.
- Passionate about helping people of all ages learn to swim or become stronger, faster, or more confident.
- Friendly, approachable, patient, with ability to build trust and motivate students.
- Creative and continually seek development opportunities.
