Cover Supervisor

Are you adaptable, reliable and able to build positive relationships quickly?
We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work across a range of secondary schools on a flexible basis from September. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining positive classroom behaviour, encouraging student engagement and building strong rapport with classes across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideally suited to experienced support staff who have previously worked with children on a 1:1, small group or whole class basis.

Candidates with a degree and a specialist subject area are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people within an educational setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• The ability to engage and motivate students

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A flexible and adaptable approach to work

• A degree or specialist subject knowledge (desirable but not essential)
