CER Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support a variety of secondary schools across Dartford, Gravesend, Medway, Maidstone, and the wider Kent area.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, and education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying flexible work that fits around their schedule.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with pre-prepared lesson materials.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and effective learning environments
• Support student engagement and participation
• Assist pupils with SEN and additional learning needs where required
• Provide lesson feedback and attendance notes for teaching staff
• Uphold school safeguarding and behaviour policies

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Experience working with young people in schools, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence leading groups and managing classroom behaviour
• A positive, professional, and adaptable approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Access to reliable transport (preferred but not essential)
