Technical Engineer - Fire & Security
£55,000 | Dartford | Hybrid (50% office-based)
The RoleAs a Technical Engineer (Fire & Security), you will play a key role in supporting the delivery, design, and integration of fire alarms and associated systems. This position is 50% office-based, offering the perfect balance between technical support and project involvement.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert technical support to Fire Alarm Engineers
- Producing quotations, system designs, and conducting fire inspections
- Supporting the integration of fire alarms with wider security systems
- Overseeing and assisting with the commissioning of fire alarms
- Acting as a key technical point of contact for clients
- Ensuring compliance and best practice across all fire alarms projects
- Salary up to £55,000
- Vehicle or car allowance
- 28 days holiday
- NEST pension
- Clear progression away from day-to-day installation work
- Experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with strong knowledge of fire alarms
- Competent in commissioning fire alarms
- Confident supporting engineers and liaising with clients
- Looking to transition into a more office-based, technical role
