Electrical Designer - Building Services
Dartford, Kent
£40,000 - £50,000
Permanent
A growing M&E contractor specialising in commercial and industrial projects is looking to recruit an Electrical Designer to join their expanding design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified designer with experience in building services design who is looking to develop within a supportive and technically focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Producing electrical designs and technical documentation
- Carrying out cable calculations using Amtech Pro Design
- Lighting calculations and luminaire selections using Dialux/Relux
- Supporting tender submissions and design & build projects
- Coordinating drawings with CAD technicians and external designers
- Providing technical support to delivery teams
- Previous experience in electrical design within commercial or industrial projects
- Experience using Amtech Pro Design and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Dialux/Relux
- 18th Edition qualified
- Good understanding of CIBSE guidelines and electrical standards
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
