As a Service Engineer, youll work with premium crane systems inside a modern 13,000 sq ft facility fitted with advanced diagnostics, specialist tooling and eight fully equipped workshop bays.

Whats in it for you Salary up to £45,760 depending on experience and capability Annual pay reviews Company pension contributions up to 12.5% Ongoing Palfinger manufacturer and ALLMI accredited technical training Career progression opportunities across a large UK engineering organisation Perkbox rewards, wellbeing support and staff discount schemes Company share plan and life assurance up to 5x salary Your responsibilities as Service Engineer Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on Palfinger and Epsilon crane systems Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software faults Complete LOLER inspections and required safety checks Use manufacturer diagnostic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance Contribute to a professional, safety-focused workshop environment What were looking for Previous experience as a Service Technician working on hydraulic or lifting equipment Background within cranes, forklifts, plant, powered access, HGVs or agricultural machinery Recognised qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and hydraulic systems Professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety Ability to work full-time on-site in Dartford, Monday to Friday Palfinger UK continues to invest heavily in its facilities, technology and people, creating an environment where skilled workshop professionals can build long-term careers with genuine opportunities for progression and specialist product training.
