Control Room Operator

Overview

Are you an experienced Control Room Operator? My client, a major highways management contractor, is looking for multiple Control Room Operators / Customer Service Agents to work with them on a long-term contract which could turn into a permanent role. This role is part of a 30-year framework with National Highways.

• Work in a team in a control room environment with a mixture of busy and quiet shifts.
• Provide customer service support and alert the emergency services and highways maintenance operatives of incidents on the M25.
• Deploy resources, log all incident information, and maintain a comprehensive timeline.
• Make arrangements for cleanup and repair as required.

The position is based in Dartford. The selected candidates will be working 48 hours a week on shift patterns of 4 days on, 4 days off (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts).

Offering: £15.00 per hour.

• You must be able to drive for this role as the office is located by the Dartford Crossing, so you will need to drive to work.
• The selected candidate will also need to spend up to 2 weeks in the South Mimms training Centre.
• This is a freelance role and you will be paid weekly via Randstad as the agency.
• We are open to all candidates with some level of customer service experience, whether in similar control room roles, working in retail, supermarkets, as a delivery driver, or roles where you are used to being on the phone (e.g., emergency services).
