Amazing opportunity to join our client in the packaging manufacturing sector at a time of growth and investment from the global corporate parent company. Working closely with the Head of Finance you will take control of the full management and cost accounting function. This is a 3 to 6 month contract.
Responsibility of the Cost & Management Accountant Role- Full monthly management accounts and commentary in line with Group processes
- Closely monitor budgets and any variances
- WIP and standard costing, liaising with Production Manager
- Analyse large data sets to mitigate the risks and develop more robust procedures
- Review and improve month end processes
- Streamline transactional accounting
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and planning ahead
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Experience gained with a manufacturing group
- Advanced Excel skills
- Standard costing and WIP reporting
- Available at short notice to start w/c 19th January
