The Role

In this key leadership position, you will:

• Deliver strategic, high-impact tax advice to owner-managed businesses, helping clients stay compliant while maximising efficiencies.
• Oversee the smooth delivery of both corporate and personal tax compliance.
• Build deep, trusted client relationships by providing clear, practical and tailored guidance.
• Lead, mentor and develop a talented tax team, fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
• Spot opportunities for tax planning and proactively present solutions to clients.
• Stay ahead of legislative changes and ensure best practice across the function.
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm to provide a joined-up service.
• Play a central role in business development, supporting the continued expansion of the Kent office.

About You

You'll bring:

• A recognised tax or accountancy qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA).
• Strong experience advising OMBs across both advisory and compliance.
• Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
• Confident leadership skills with a track record of developing teams.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and commercial awareness.
• A proactive mindset with an eye for tax planning opportunities.
