Finance Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Location: Office-based, requiring on-site attendance five days per week

An established and internationally recognised manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its finance team. Operating across global markets, the business supplies specialist products and services to a diverse international customer base and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, providing insightful commentary on financial performance and key variances.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls are maintained.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate year-end reporting requirements, including audit preparation and statutory accounts.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Take ownership of standard costing processes and support transfer pricing activities.
- Review and manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Deliver timely financial analysis, reports, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial support and commercial insight.
- Lead and contribute to finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and VAT.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
- Proven ability to analyse financial data and communicate findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on driving process improvements and delivering business value.
- Manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
