POSITION
Night Cleaner
RESPONSIBLE TOHealth & Fitness Manager & Cleaning Supervisor
MAIN DUTIESThe delivery of excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure all facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
3 nights per week, including some weekends, 21:00 - 01:00.
RESPONSIBILITIES- The job of a cleaner to ensure that all assigned areas are kept clean and hygienic.
- Complete all tasks as outlined in the daily cleaning schedule, including:
- Maintain public restrooms: keep fully stocked, counter-tops clean, wipe waste receptacles as needed, mop floors and maintain a safe, clean condition.
- Maintain changing room facilities: clean showers, floors, lockers, countertops, and replenish stock.
- Clean gym and studio floors; clear studio mirrors of handprints.
- Hoover public walkways within the health & fitness area and clean lockers.
- Clean all poolside facilities including indoor and outdoor pool areas, sauna, steam room, showers; clear rubbish and report lost property to reception.
- Areas for cleaning: reception, health & fitness club, help and support area, restaurant, and Kelvedon.
- Secure the building at the end of shift.
- Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products; dispose of waste properly.
- Operate electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs, etc.) safely and store correctly.
- Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support colleagues with shift cover and remain flexible within working hours.
- Create a positive, approachable impact on members and guests, greeting them with a hello or good morning/afternoon/evening.
- Working nights and weekends.
- Working in cold, hot, and humid environments.
