Temporary The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting for an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer on behalf of Nisha Enterprises. Nisha Enterprises are one of the UK's major manufacturers of Corn/Maize & Potato Snacks, Confectionery, Sweets and Ethnic snack ranges. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical & Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team at our snack and confectionery manufacturing facility in Livingston.

Role Overview :
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime Supporting continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and food hygiene standards Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery when required Maintaining accurate maintenance records Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical & Mechanical Engineer within a manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding and repair skills on industrial machinery Relevant electrical and/or mechanical qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
