About the Role

Stafforce are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands‑on role involving the programming, setting, and operation of 3-axis CNC milling machines
, producing high‑quality precision components to exact specifications.

Experience with
Heidenhain controls is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines
  • Work with Heidenhain controls (preferred)
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Apply a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Produce precision components to tight tolerances
  • Select, set, and use appropriate cutting tools
  • Inspect components using a wide range of measuring equipment
  • Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and health & safety
  • Work in accordance with company policies and procedures
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller (programming, setting, and operating)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good working knowledge of CNC tooling and machining processes
  • Confident using micrometres, verniers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
  • Methodical, organised, and detail-focused approach
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • 40 hours per week
