Job Role of the Manufacturing Engineer.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for aManufacturing Engineer to join an established manufacturing site in Kent. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, high-speed production lines, and continuous improvement initiatives, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and future leadership opportunities.
You will be responsible for carrying out continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Working on a Monday to Friday days pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.
Sector - Industrial Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer- Continuous Improvement experience
- Lean Manufacturing process experience
- Six Sigma
- Minimum Green Belt
- Knowledge of CMMS systems
- Continuous Improvement experience
- Factory / Industrial experience
- Lean Manufacturing processes
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in the UK.
- Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
- Working for a market-leading manufacturing business.
