Production Administrator
Dartford
£13.10 per hour
Temp to Perm
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:30 to 17:00
Friday: 08:30 to 16:00
The Company
Our client is a well-established international manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Production Administrator to join their operations team in Dartford.
The Role
Working closely with the production planning team and factory supervisors, you will help ensure the smooth flow of orders through the manufacturing process. This is a varied position combining administration, scheduling, communication, and planning support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily production planning and scheduling activities
* Maintain and update shop floor schedules
* Provide lead times for new orders
* Assist with general production and departmental administration
* Monitor stock levels to support customer requirements
* Prioritise late customer orders and adjust workloads accordingly
* Support other Production Planners when required
* Communicate large orders to assist resource planning
* Work closely with factory supervisors to maximise efficiency
* Help ensure daily production targets are achieved
Skills and Experience
* Strong computer skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
* Reliable, hardworking, and conscientious
* Strong communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible approach and willingness to support different tasks
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
