Brand Ambassador

Responsible for maximising retail sales and building strong relationships with customers and team/colleagues  a key Brand Ambassador, ensure Diptyque’s positioning as a true luxury brand.

Duties and

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver agreed sales KPI's for the store – focusing on sales, ATV, UPT, conversion and CRM.
  • Develop an understanding of the KPI and business objectives on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Understand the KPI reporting required for the host store and the company as required.
  • Assist with boutique reporting when needed.
  • Ensure every customer is approached and assisted to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain and develop strong relations with customers and deliver impeccable service at all times.
  • Work with the team for events both in‑store and off‑site as the business requires.
  • Be up to date with product knowledge, key trends, promotions and launches within the business.
  • Attend key training sessions held by the company.
  • Maintain high standards of the back‑of‑house areas to support the sales floor.
  • Keep the counter clean, neat and tidy at all times.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of all visual animations in store and in the windows, including seasonal campaigns and gift wrapping.
  • Record and monitor sales/customer contacts and requirements.
  • Assist Counter Manager with duties and additional tasks as required.
  • Follow all host‑store cash‑handling guidelines at all times.
  • Adhere to company dress code and grooming guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain a good relationship with all colleagues at Diptyque.
  • Abide by all host‑store rules and policy.
  • Be willing to work in other London Diptyque locations if needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Passion and previous fragrance/beauty/luxury retail experience.
  • Sales focused with a proven sales record.
  • Strong people and performance/management skills.
  • Expertly honed customer service skills and confidence in interacting with the general public.
  • Self‑motivated, focused and able to use own initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertly groomed at all times – appearance must reflect Diptyque’s brand and store.
  • Full‑time availability with flexible working hours, including Saturdays and some Sundays.
  • Assertive, dynamic and always have a “can‑do” positive attitude.
