About the role
This global fashion retailer is seeking a Deputy Manager for their new Bluewater store where you’ll support all aspects of the store opening, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of the team along with store set‑up, visual merchandising and floor layout implementation, making the store look great and achieving one goal – ensuring the best experience for colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities include- Support and assist the Store Manager and work in partnership with the management team
- Analyse sales performance daily and make strong commercial decisions to maximise result
- Ensure smooth daily operations, leading the store confidently in the absence of the Store Manager
- Be a role model to the team, driving great energy and atmosphere on the shop floor
- Support the growth and development of your team to deliver on KPIs, product knowledge, service, visual merchandising, and operations
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for your store team

- Experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within retail
- Strong communication and people skills – you enjoy building relationships

- A commercial mindset with a drive for achieving and exceeding results
- Confidence in navigating change and embracing new challenges (especially in a new‑store opening environment!)
