Role Overview

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Van Driver.

Role: Van Driver

Location: Dartford & the surrounding areas

Hours: Various - 6am to 8am start time - average 8 to 10 hour shifts

Pay: £13 per hour - minimum 8 hours pay - overtime after 8 hours at £19.50 per hour

Companies operating in a wide range of sectors – flooring, general haulage, paper & packaging supplies, food products, metal, timber, building materials, tyres, medical supplies, etc.

• Weekly pay
• No weekends
• Paid PAYE – no umbrella companies
• Use of company temp APP
• Overtime paid after 8 hours at £19.50 per hour
• Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
• Flexibility – choose which days you want to work
• Variety of job selections

• Multi-drop & long distance deliveries
• Loading and/or unloading of vehicle
• Use of pump truck – electric or manual
• Completion of paperwork & use of PDA/scanning device
• Securing load – use of ratchet straps
• Use of curtain side or tail lift vehicles
• Possible cash handling

• UK driving licence (B category) – max 6 points on licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Relevant experience essential
• Drive the vehicle safely and in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations
