Position: Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor - Fresh Produce / Nights
Our Client is passionate about Fresh Produce and successfully supply a high standard of product to the UK retailers. We currently offer an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join the business at an exciting time of growth.

The position of Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement, dispatch of product and equipment throughout the facility. Lead, motivate and develop a multifunctional team resolving issues and serving as a link between operatives and management to help deliver operational KPI’s.

Responsibilities include;

Lead, develop and coach Operational staff
Coordinating drivers, vehicles and loads, ensuring documentation is completed as defined by SOPs.
Monitoring stock levels and reporting any storage issues.
Carry out daily inspections of operational areas.
Ensure waste throughout the operation is controlled safely and efficiently.
Plan workload, allocate tasks and monitor progress against targets.

We require;

Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG sector exposure

Experience across logistics / Warehouse / stock control / import & export

Confident ability to work with and organise hauliers, clearing agents, 3rd party packers

Excellent IT & Numeracy skills, the ability to use systems, spreadsheets, and multitask is key

Kent

Salary; up to £40k - dependent on experience

Working 5 nights per week, Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am
