We’re currently looking for a
Payroll Administrator
to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll, this could be the role for you.

Position Overview

As the
Payroll Administrator
, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Canadian employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll manage payroll processing, maintain detailed records, and partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to support a smooth and compliant payroll function. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Process Canadian payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial payroll regulations (Quebec knowledge is an asset)
  • Review payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary corrections
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal teams
  • Support year-end activities, including T4 and RL-1 preparation
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, deductions, and garnishments
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity
  • Provide payroll data and support to HR and Finance as needed
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in a related field; PCP designation is an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of payroll or general office experience
  • Working knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
  • Experience with payroll systems (Payworks considered an asset)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a close‑knight team
